During May 18&19th, Woodward West played host to the USAIGC State Meet. It was awesome to host so many athletes and coaches in the Woodward West gym. We also opened the Canteen all weekend and had Saturday night S'mores by the camp fire. Woodward West VIPs Olympian Jason Gatson and NCAA Champion Jen Hansen gave out awards during the meet as well to help create a fun Woodward West atmosphere. We are glad everyone did well and hope to see you this summer!

Gary Young has been a visiting pro at Woodward West for many years; his positive attitude and contagious energy creates such a fun atmosphere for the campers and staff. We are so excited and proud to see Gary take home his first gold medal this past weekend from Barcelona, Spain. Congrats Gary from all the Woodward West family, friends, campers, and staff! Well done!

Woodward West hosted a great weekend at Woodward West for the 2013 Vital MTB Super Session and this video captured all the killer highlights. Also, ankles and wrists of steel as Super Session attendees vie for $250 in our first attempt at the High Jump. The final height was 12 feet split by Jake Kinney and Eric Johnson. INSANE!
