We are excited to announce the Bell Certified Slam will be hosted at Woodward West during March 23 & 24, 2013. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for amateur riders to compete against their own age and skill level. This event will be promoting helmet safety and all riders will be required to wear bike certified helmets at this competition. Loaner helmets will be available (HUGE thanks to Bell Helmets, the Athlete Recovery Fund, and Woodward West).

Awards brought to you by Bell Helmets: Amateurs: Trophies or Medals to the top three in each division. Winners of the 12-14, 15-17 & 18+ Advanced Class will receive a free entry into the Pro Class. Additional prizes may be offered based on supporting sponsor donations. Pros: $500 1st, $300 2nd and $200 3rd.

Waivers: All riders under 18 that won’t be accompanied by a parent must have a Woodward West waiver signed in advance and brought with them to the competition. Medical staff will be present during the competition.
Entering Multiple Classes: Novice riders can enter multiple classes as long as it’s in a higher skill level or age division. Advanced riders can enter higher advanced age divisions or the pro class. $20 for each additional division.
Practice Schedule: Park will be open Friday night from 6pm to 10pm for an additional $20 fee.
Saturday 9am to 11am and Sunday 9am to 10am. As soon as practice gets too crowded, it will be broken up into age groups for the safety of the riders and so riders can adequately prepare for competition. Competition will start at 11:30am Saturday.
Start Order: The rider to sign up first will be last to compete in the division. The last rider to sign up will go first. Competition format: Each rider will get 2 45 second runs. Best run counts. Riders can start their run from
anywhere on the course.
Warm up time: There will be a 10 minute warm up time between each division.
